Silkscreen printing on acrylic glass
Drawing motifs of a four year old child and words written in Kurrent handwriting style from a school folder of my mother form the basis.
For the overlapping of image motifs and words, resp., lettering, I used the silkscreen printing technique. Three sides of the cube were printed. As under print I used color surfaces as well as photo motifs. They were transported to the three-dimensional plane by light, reflection and overlapping.
By sliding, that is, through the movement of the viewer, the attention is steered towards the meaning of gestures. The selection and the reflection of the motifs consequently associate a further image context, resp., a further plot sequence.
